  If you have a few hours free regularly and would like to be an advocate, we will train you and provide support. We are looking for volunteer advocates in Teignbridge, South Hams, West Devon and Torbay areas.
  We are currently looking for someone with fundraising-skills and experience in writing funding application bids, asking people for money, organising events.
  We are currently looking for someone to help promote Vocal across our operational area. Ideally this will be someone with ideas and enthusiasm to help Vocal improve it’s visibility and a willingness to work with and motivate people with learning disabilities within the ‘Marketing Team’
  Attend our quarterly meetings meet our advocates, other members and service users, learn about what we do. We are currently looking for someone to enable people with learning disabilities to fully participate in all of Vocal’s activities, including management and delivering advocacy.Ideally this person will have experience and belief in developing service users to be full participants and leaders as well as patience, imagination and a willingness to learn new techniques and strategies to enable individual participation.
  We can give you posters and leaflets to display, or one of our members will
come and talk to your organisation/group/club. You can also make a contribution to our funds and attend an introduction to advocacy event
